Andrey Ternovskiy, creator of Chatroulette, is in New York City this week to meet with investors and businessmen who want to partner u with the young entrepreneur. When asked by New York Times Staff writers Nick Bilton and David Gallagher how the meetings are going, Ternovskiy saucily replies,

Well, for now, they are more interested in me, than I am in them.

He holds out, even after he learns that he will not receive payment from Google AdSense anytime soon because he is not old enough to use the service.

Ternovskiy is young, but he is smart. He knows he has the luxury of taking his time before letting himself be woo’d by any particular investor, and that he, literally, has a world of them to choose from Last week he was talking to Russian investor Yuri Milner who is keen to keep Chatroulette as a Russian acquisition. This week the young entrepreneur is in New York City and will head to San Francisco next week, the tech capitol of the world.

When asked about when he would head back home to Russia, Ternovskiy alluded to the possibility of remaining on American  soil.

I have a ticket to go back in mid-April. But who knows, maybe I’ll never go back!
